Our yurt was the most practical structure for our off-grid getaway. It is just like having a cabin. Almost everything we need is on site and it is easy and relaxing to arrive and have minimal prep to do. It has withstood thirteen winters at 9,500 ft. with absolutely no structural issues. We love it and are able to use it six months of the year comfortably. We do not have a heat source at this time so winters are out of the question for livability.
